Turkey Meatballs

A recipe from our friends Bailey and her owners, this treat brings our favorite family member closer to the table over the holidays. They created this to help keep Bailey eating pup-friendly foods so that she was never too far away from the celebration. Celebrate the holidays in style with your furry friend by giving them this yummy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Ground Turkey*
  • 2 Tbsp Sweet Potato Puree/Canned Pumpkin Puree/Canned Butternut Squash Puree/Finely Shredded Carrots
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup of Rolled Oats
  • 1 tsp of Fresh Parsley
  • ⅛-1/4 cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ⅛ cup of Finely Chopped Kale or Spinach (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup of Water
  • *If shredded left-over turkey meat make sure to rinse or boil to remove seasoning

Instructions

  • Step One: Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Step Two: Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • Step Three: Use a spoon to scoop out some of the meat mixture and roll into small balls in your hand.
  • Step Four: Place the meatballs on a lightly greased or a lined cookie sheet.
  • Step Five: Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow to fully cool and store in the fridge before serving.
