
Training Treats

Have a picky eater? Trying to find new ways to engage them with training? Want a new take on their enrichment? This recipe can solve all of those with new flavors to entice your pup. Easy to make and power packed with flavors that are paw-fect for pups of all ages.
- 1 cup of Chicken Breast (Raw)
- 1 cup of Mashed Banana
- ⅓ cup of Shredded Beats (Raw)
- 1 Egg (Whole)*
- ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
- 1 cup of Flour of Choice
- *Remove parts with ink in the shell
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Mix ingredients in the order listed, chicken, banana, beats, whole egg, cinnamon, olive, oil, flour, under completely integrated.
- Grease a large tray wrapped in aluminum foil with olive oil. Pour the mixture into a pan and flatten the mixture until it reaches a maximum thickness of 1 cm.
- Place the mixture in the oven and cook for 45 minutes. Let cool to remove the foil and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Transfer the baked dough to a cutting board and cut into smaller pieces, the size will depend on your dog’s preference.
- Bake the smaller pieces again for 10 minutes to allow the dough to completely harden. Once baked, store in the freezer. Recommended to feed at room temperature to avoid an upset stomach.
I do not recommend feeding the shell of the egg in this recipe. I am not sure what the perceived benefit would be?
