Dog Macaroons

The fun never ends when you get to bake with your best friend. Jenna, Lucy, Stella, and Mocha couldn’t agree more. They shared their favorite recipe to make together so that you and your dog have something new to create. These Macarons are sure to be a hit both in making and in EATING!

1 ¼ cup of Whole Wheat Flour
½ tsp of Baking Powder
½ of Natural Peanut Butter*
1 Egg
2 Tbsp of Honey
½ cup of Milk
*Extra peanut butter for sandwiching

Preheat oven to 350 F. Begin by mixing flour, baking powder, peanut butter, egg, milk, and honey together in a bowl to create a dough.
Lightly flour a surface and pat the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick. Cut circle shapes* out of the dough.
Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, allowing to cool when finished.
Sandwich extra peanut butter in between two cookies and decorate with honey, Greek yogurt, or any other dog safe decoration.
*Size of a Gatorade bottle cap

Peanut butter is a fun and yummy source of protein your pup is sure to enjoy! Be sure to check ingredient labels and avoid brands containing xylitol due to it's toxicity in dogs.
