Cranberry and Flax Seed Biscuits

Cranberry and Flax Seed Biscuits

from Hiro's Treats

A passion project from Hiro's owner is creating new and interesting recipes for pups to try. This biscuit is the perfect combination of both. Made with flaxseed and cranberries, this recipe helps with a dog's muscle strength and digestion while offering new flavors for your pup to engage with.
  • ½ cup of Craisins (Without Sugar)
  • 1 ⅔ cup of Oat Flour
  • 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tbsp of Flaxseed
  • 1 Egg
  • Water as Needed
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Chop the Craisins into smaller pieces.
  2. Mix all the ingredients, oat flour, flaxseeds, craisins, egg, and coconut oil already melted, in a bowl adding a little water as needed to obtain a soft and compact dough.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut with a mold of your choice. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Pull out of the oven and cool. Keep in an airtight container for about a week or freeze for longer.

Flaxseed in this fun recipe is packed with omega fatty acids which helps promote a healthy coat and skin.
