Banana Squash Treats

Squash those basic flavored treats with this unique combination. Introduce flavors of butternut squash and banana into your dogs diet through this treat. Cut small enough to fit into your pup's favorite KONG and create a new experience for them to enjoy.

1 cup of Butternut Squash
2 Eggs
1 Banana
1 ¼ cup of Flour of Choice

Preheat the oven to 365 F. Cut the butternut squash into small bits, bake in the oven with a bit of oil until soft.
Mix the baked butternut squash with the banana. Add the eggs and flour each after the previous ingredient has been mixed in.
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes in the fridge before rolling out the dough and cutting out shapes of your choice.
Place the shapes on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. The treats should still be moist when you remove them. Let cool completely before serving to your pup.

When cooked, squash can be a great snack for dogs as a low calorie treat. The added banan adds even more vitamins.
